In His Own Words:

“I am a Christ-follower, a husband, a father, a family member, a friend, a preacher & teacher, and a writer. I am devoted to all of these, in that order.”

“I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ at age 15, answered the call to the Gospel ministry at 17, and served in the vocational ministry at several churches from 1985 until 2013. I am currently a private school teacher, leader of an Indonesian orphanage foundation, a part-time preacher,  a magazine writer & columnist, and a motorcycle rider. I am happily married to Lisa M., and we have two lovely daughters, Ansley and Kelsey, both in successful careers. We are deeply proud of them.”

What Others Have Said:

“Rob is a dynamic leader who brings years of proven children’s ministry experience to the table.  His skill set gives him the great balance of being a ‘kid magnet’ coupled with the ability to effectively lead teams of adult volunteers. He has been a friend and inspiration to me for many years. I have brought him to speak on several occasions to the kids at our church and he always hits a home run.  If you want someone to take your ministry to the next level…he is your man.” -Dale Hudson, author, speaker, Children’s Ministry consultant, West Palm Beach, FL

“Rob Brooks has been one of the top children’s ministry leaders in America. He is a gifted, exciting communicator, is passionate about seeing kids come to faith in Christ and become established in the Word. Rob is a multiplier; he very effectively trains and motivates leaders to do the same. He has a proven track record of nearly 30 successful years in children and student ministries. You need to use this guy!” -Jerry Pipes, author, speaker, Jerry Pipes Productions

“Rob is an excellent children’s minister, creative, resourceful, and highly dedicated to his task. I recommend him very highly!” -James Merritt, author, speaker, Pastor of Cross Pointe Church, Duluth, GA

“I had the very good blessing of working with Rob for several years and closely observing his outstanding talent, commitment, dedication, and love for the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Rob has a passion for teaching and discipleship and is a gifted and engaging communicator to audiences ranging from children to adults.  He is energetic, witty and fun – characteristics I believe make him an enjoyable and valuable speaker and leader.” -Allen Hughes, chaplain, pastor, administrator, educator, strategic planner.

“I served with Rob Brooks for 5 years at Hebron Church, known him for nearly 20. As the Student Pastor, I personally received the blessing of having a Children’s Pastor that loved kids to Jesus. Rob consistently gave an A+ effort! Rob is a great team leader. He knows how to empower people to serve with excellence, both paid staff, as well as volunteers. I personally experienced how Rob related to other executive staff with dignity and professionalism. I also know how he loves his wife and children. I was blessed to have his two daughters in our student ministry while I was there. They were each young ladies who loved Jesus and others, as Christ would. Rob is a great leader, speaker and disciple! I highly recommend my friend to your ministry!” Greg Sweatt, Co-Pastor, Phoenix Community, Buford, GA

  2. Hello Rob, I appreciate your courage to step out and be on adventure with GOD over the last two years. It is the most fulfilling way to live life…living HIS will not our own. I want to thank you for your spiritual support in the years after October 6, 2006. GOD IS faithful in all circumstances. When we couple that with the desire for JESUS CHRIST to be glorified through it all we get added grace and peace and joy.
